OFUNA-made TOWER 6x,30 Binocular: Cleane

Wanna try a really nice Vintage Binocular with sterling views? This little Tower branded one was cleaned, lubed, and had their hand finished BK-7 prism sides blackened so as to enhance brightness and contrast.

Nearly every old bino could stand a good internal cleaning to bring out their often jaw dropping views. And they tend to be of Porro prism design that yields a more 3D image unlike today's crop of, otherwise excellent, Roof prism binos. Many also prefer the feel of such old optics in the hand. And with the screw off hard plastic eye cups off, views really open up! It's how I use nearly every one of my 60+ Vin Bins. Comes with a conditioned original leather strap and bright metal barbell keepers. I've added a set of up-cycled ocular caps to keep dust off pristine lenses when they are left out on a shelf ready for use. No case came with this classic, but a suitable one should be available at a local thrift store. We've even used small soft sided coolers to hold optics on trips.
