For Sale!! Original Xbox completely gone through!
What’s been done:
-Fully disassembled and cleaned
-Board cleared of dust. It’s a 1.6 motherboard version so the clock cap is not of concern like older models.
-5 capacitors replaced (ones by GPU and PSU plugs in)
-New disc tray belt and grease
-New thermal paste on GPU and CPU
-PSU plug resoldered
-Disc drive would not read discs that well so did a recap on it and working great now! (These lasers are 20+ years old so it is expected)
While taking it apart one of the tabs where the fan goes broke off. It still sits perfectly secure without it being there but I did super glue that tab back in place. The plastic on these console get brittle over time.
Controller is untouched and joysticks in great shape!
CIB copy of Destroy All Humans (disc has light scratches & looks like it was resurfaced at some point it does has some residue in the center ring but reads no problem. Game case does have a puncture hole on the bottom right
