This beautiful chainmaille necklace is handmade from Anodized Aluminum rings. It is perfect for all occasions although is intended to be worn more as a choker-type necklace more than a longer one, in order for the cascade to display properly.
Because it is made from aluminum, it won't tarnish, rust, or corrode over time. If it starts to look dull and dirty just give it a quick wash with mild soap and water and pat dry. Any other harsh soaps may change and remove the color coating.
Each Cascade is handmade by weaving together approximately 100 individual rings, not including the necklace chain. Each necklace can take up to an hour to complete depending on the number of individual rings and the pattern complexity.
I do recommend removing it for showering & sleeping in order to lengthen lifespan but absolutely stands up to regular use. As always, should something unfortunate happen to your piece I'm happy to make repairs.
