Simply put in the AA battery (not included), fill the feeder trays with dry food, and set the time for when your pet needs to eat. Each tray can be set to open up to 48 hours in advance.
For example, if you feed your pet once a day, set the 1st tray to open 24 hours after their normal feeding time and the second for 48 hours later. If you feed your pet twice a day, set one tray for 12 hours and the other for 24.
