Founded under the reign of Danish Dowager Queen Juliane Marie in 1775, Royal Copenhagen is one of the oldest and most respected brands in the world. Originally designed as a tea service in the 19th century, the pattern was first produced as dinnerware a century later in 1978. With borders encircled by delicate lace, its hand-painted fluted pattern whispers a resemblance to Blue Fluted dinnerware. The small Princess Plate is adorned with a romantic lace, hand painted with the classic blue colour of Royal Copenhagen. Tactile flutes radiate from the blue border, slowly decreasing in size to leave behind a clean surface of white porcelain. The plate is ideal for use as a dessert plate, lunch plate or as a small serving dish.
