This is a beautiful Banana Republic handbag/satchel, or Doctor's Bag as I like to call it! It's made of leather with a crocodile embossed pattern. I purchased this at Banana Republic in 2008 and LOVED IT! I haven't used it for almost 7 years and it's in pristine condition as best as I can photograph. It holds ALOT! I've moved on to the backpack phase so I'm hoping someone will love this as much as I do. I've added some of the measurements. Across the top zipper and the bottom are approximately 12 inches. And the sides measure in at 6 inches.
