Extremely rare headband!! 1970's Bridal headpiece, handmade in the Turkish Ottoman Empire. Headband is made of authentic guilded brass, and the headband is adorned with ruby and green malachite gemstones, lavalite, marcasite and surrounded by cubic zirconia gems. The ornate design mimics stacked hearts on each side.
a local jeweler appraised the piece at $650, and advised that I sell for no less than $100-$300. I'm ready to sell, funding an operation for my son so I'm willing to take a loss.
This headband is in perfect condition and has been in my family for decades. It is been in a jewelry box held by my grandmother and a smoke and pet free home. It is now residing in my smoke and pet-free home. Prefer that the piece go to someone who will not only care for the headband but also appreciate its history and significance.
