Compared to seed alone, your lawn will grow 2 times faster (when applied at the new lawn rate, subject to proper care). Use on either new lawns or overseeding existing grass. To apply, rake the top layer of soil before applying the product with a Scotts® spreader. For best results, apply this product in the spring or early summer when temperatures are consistently between 70°F and 90°F and the danger of frost has passed. Make sure to water twice daily for the first 3 weeks (or until seedlings reach 2 inches in height) to keep soil surface moist, and avoid using weed control products until your lawn has been established (mowed at least 4 times). Finally, be sure to use Scotts® Lawn Food products every 8 weeks through the season to maintain a thick, green lawn.
