A vintage copper craft guild silent butler. It was made in the 1950s in Taunton Massachusetts. Taunton Massachusetts is a historic silver industry city which began in the 1800s. It is also home to read and Barton etc. The silent butler was used to collect crumbs from the table and ashes from the ashtrays. It has some dents in this particular piece see the photos. It has a beautiful patina and it has been used. It measures 8 inches from side to side and 5 1/2 inches from the handle to the front of the butler. It measures 1 1/4 inches deep. The handle measures 4 inches long.
