My partner and I were together for over 2 decades before he passed away. We would host a big party for his birthday each year new things always appeared on our serving table. Where they came from, I rarely knew. Nothing ever matched, he just liked to use things that he found visaully interesting. After he died, I was going though all of our boxes and found these in a box labeled "catering" wrapped in newspapers from 1983. This is a 2 piece set of Corbell & Co. Silver Plated Salt & Pepper Shakers. They are approximately 5" tall and 2" wide. Each has a top that unscrews to reveal a removable plastic liner that hold the salt/pepper separate from the metal of the shaker.
They are beautiful and have a real weight to them.
I'm no collector, but they appear to be in really lovely condition. Some wear, as pictured (most notably the holes the salt/pepper comes out of)
So I offer them here for someone to enjoy on their table. Sold as is/pictured. No returns. Thanks!
