This is an Infrared burner and mesh screen for 27XL Solaire Grills (not the 27-inch models). It can be a replacement for an existing infrared burner, or be used to change out the Solaire Convection burner, thus making your grill "all infrared." The burner assembly and mesh are stainless steel. The ceramic honeycomb tiles have 12,000 tiny holes that produce small flames that heat the ceramic to a glowing red, emitting direct energy in the infrared spectrum.
