Great vintage bamboo fly rod from an estate sale. Made in the 1940's-1950's.
South Bend model 59-9'.
Sale includes metal travel tube, original bag, cork handle section, middle section, and two end sections. With one of the end sections it is 9' long...with the other it is 8 1/2" long.
Condition: The cork handle has light signs of age as seen in pictures. The bag and tube have some signs of age as seen in pictures but may clean up nicely. The handle area still has the two metal holders as well as the end screw section. The handle section still has all of its eyelet. The middle section still has its three eyelets. One of the end sections still has its three eyelets. The other end section is missing two eyelets.
It will be protected well and insured.
