This Spode Blue Room Collection dinner plate features the elegant “Greek” pattern from the Traditions Series, produced between 1995 and 2001. Crafted in England, this blue-and-white plate showcases a timeless neoclassical design.
The central scene depicts a four-horse chariot race illustrating Cynisca, the first woman to win at the Greek Olympic Games in 392 BC. Surrounding the scene is a classic Greek key border, along with additional vignettes of classical figures and architectural motifs around the rim.
