A Tea Party With The King is an inspirational story for all ages. Though written primarily for young ladies, the characters grapple with contemporary issues everyone faces from time to time. As you accompany Victoria on her journey, you will recognize that each of us has greater value and influence than we might imagine. And within these pages you may discover, not only the fanciful story of a young lady and her friends, but perhaps a season in which to reflect on long-held emotions you also may no longer need. It is my hope Victoria's story will provide you an opportunity to laugh, cry, and meditate; and that she and her friends will become your comrades as they share their life lessons with you. A native of rural Mississippi, Dr. Elizabeth Foy has taught the Word of God for forty-three years. She holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies and a Doctorate of Divinity from Evangel Christian University. For many years, she enjoyed the unique honor of serving as the only female chaplain to motorcycle clubs in the southeastern U.S., logging thousands of miles ministering the Gospel to the biker community. She helped found Kairos Outside of Louisiana (a ministry to the families of those incarcerated); and with her husband, Ray, conducts worship services in several prison facilities. Ordained with AEGA International, the Foys founded Highways & Hedges Ministries in 1996. Popular speakers at conferences, retreats, and seminars, their primary focus is women's ministries. Currently their major emphasis is hosting "The King's Tea" - a one to three day event focusing on an intimate worship experience with the King.
