Trend Lock Jig Kit for Routing Face-Plate Recess and Mortise, LOCK/JIG

Product Description Designed with the contractor and trade user in mind, the Trend Lock Jig makes fitting mortice sash locks, deadlocks, and latches into wooden doors a cinch, ensuring a perfect fit each and every time. The jig can be used on all doors from 34mm to 58mm thick and is easily set to the door using the centralising plate and altering the adjustable clamping bar. A set of 16 steel templates are supplied that cover a huge range of locks in common sizes from recognised manufacturers as well as many others. From the Manufacturer Trend's Lock Jig uses a set of interchangeable templates and with a router will cut the mortise and face-plate recess for popular door locks.

• FAST LOCK JIG SETUP: The Trend Lock Jig can be quickly set to any door width between 1-11/32" to 2-9/32". With its tool-free setup and full-length clamping plate, it remains rock solid in use, secured with locking levers and twin clamping knobs.
• ADJUSTABLE SIZES: Supplied with 12 lock faceplate & 4 lock case templates held by magnets make this jig versatile. It needs only 1 router & cutter to do lock case mortice & faceplate.
• COMPREHENSIVE INSTRUCTIONS: The comprehensive laminated reference sheet with common lock models and secondary chart on the reverse side with faceplate and lock case sizes to quickly select the correct templates.
• EASY TO USE: Each template is stamped to indicate the locks it can be used with; 4-lettered plates for lock cases and 12-numbered plates for the faceplates. Simplifying and speeding up the selection process as well as eliminating costly errors.
• NEEDED ACCESSORIES: Router with 3-5/32" plunge, 1-3/16" guide bush, 15/32" cutter (4-17/32" length) to achieve 2-3/4" mortice depth for lock case.
