The Triplett GEM 301-5TP BNC Crimp On Connector features a bright nickel finish and solid brass body. The captive, self-energizing gold-plated center contact is designed for 18 AWG, .270 - .280 Jacket O.D. The 2-piece connector construction means no loose contacts or other parts to handle. This connector also solves potential cable/connector dimensional discrepancy problems as it is not vulnerable to fluctuating cable O.D.'s and will maintain proper cable retention. For proper installation, use GST-1 Strip Tool and GET-301-UT Crimp Tool (each sold separately).
