“Chanhua” 缠花, literally “twisted flower”, is a handcraft listed cultural heritage that uses colorful silk thread to wrap pieces of paper shaped like flower petals or metal wires that act as the flower stems to make a hairpin, which goes perfectly with Chinese
It started in the Northern Song Dynasty, flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and was successfully declared as a provincial intangible cultural heritage in 2011.
