N-3B Flight Jacket
The TYPE N-3 series was born after the end of World War II as a heavy zone (-10°C to -30°C) model, similar to the TYPE N-2. Originally developed for flight, the long length restricted movement in the narrow cockpit, so the N-3B was later repurposed for ground crew use. The N-3B is made of nylon with a parka-style hood and inner ribs on the sleeves, effectively preventing wind from entering through the cuffs.
