Vashe Wound Cleanser Solution OTC is a saline-based wound cleanser containing hypochlorous acid (HOCl) as the primary active ingredient. HOCl is a natural substance produced by the human body's white blood cells to fight infection and promote healing. Vashe reduces risk of infection by killing a broad spectrum of bacteria and fungi. It can be used for cleansing, irrigating, moistening, and debriding (loosening and removing dead tissue) acute and chronic wounds, such as diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous insufficiency ulcers, post-surgical wounds as well as minor cuts, scrapes and wounds.
