A rare, early Yajiro kokeshi by Masao Watanabe. This was before he started exclusively making Sosaku Kokeshi.
Condition: GUVC. (Good Used Vintage Condition). Please note that most of my items are pre-owned & vintage, so signs of age and wear should be expected, even if not described. This can include fading, darkening, staining, peeling, minor dents & scratches and floating wax.
Amateur Inspection: I have noted a few mild marks of paint transfer on the backside, a little blemish in the wood at the very bottom, front & mild age related darkening. Overall in really good condition.
