This is a lovely vintage pair of screw back type earrings. They are marked 800 for silver content so not quite sterling but they are silver. They look to me like they may be made of carved shell but I am not certain. They have a pretty detailed frame around the cameo. They could definitely use a good clean up but all parts are working as they should. There are of course some scratches and dings from wear and these look gold on the back and look more silver on the front so they may have been gold plated at one time. The cameo measures approximately 0.59 x 0.69 and the total weight is 5.9g. (Bin#MS3)
