Vintage AVB Sterling Compact - Monogram P
This beautiful compact is not marked sterling, but has hallmark used by AVB sterling of Mexico, so confident in saying it is sterling.
Floral design on lid with a large P monogram. Opens and closes properly. Mirror inside in good condition. Hinged compartment inside to keep powder, latches securely. Powder puff has the AVB logo. A bit of powder remains.
Slight dent on lid, not noticeable, otherwise good vintage condition. Measures 2¾ x 2¾. Could use a good polishing.
This was a gift from my father in the 1950s.
