Vintage Beaded Sequin Christmas Tree Table Top MCM Brass Base Added Vtg Star 12"
Vintage MCM Pre-Owned in very nice condition. Years ago we added the star on top of the tree, the tree never had a star but our kids wanted it to have a star topper, my husband added a star from one of those ceramic Vintage Christmas Trees. It just sticks in the top and can be pulled right out if you don't want it to have the star topper. We enjoyed the way it looked so I am leaving it in place and including the star topper. The base of the tree is round brass and keeps the tree stable and the tree doesn't tip over.
It appears to be a cardboard type cone with fabric attached. Each strand of beads and sequins are then strung to the material. Base is Brass. It probably has some missing sequins or beads here or there but as shown in photo it is loaded with sequins and beads. Just like a beaded or sequined sweater, you may find a sequin or bead on occasion shed from the tree.
