This beautifully sculptured collectors plate is named "To a Skylark" by Gayle Bright AppleBy. This baroque cameo art decorative plate was made in 1979 by Percy Bysshe Shelley, sculptured by Gayle Bright AppleBy, and by Incolay Studios of California. It is third in the series of Limited-Edition plates named "The Romantic Poets" and was permanently closed in 1979.
The colors of this plate is both classic and beautiful. Antique Beige highlights the sculpture of the woman holding her dress, bird flying above, and embellished edges. It is signed in the front by the artist Gayle Bright AppleBy. The details are amazing! The back has a brass like plate with all of the information of the plate on it and a spot for easy hanging. It is in excellent vintage condition and would look great as décor or in your collection.
