The details of this sophisticated off-white button down shirt are exquisite. Tiny floral motif reminiscent of Liberty of London is offset by powder blue stripes at the well-proportioned collar and sleeves (notice the tiny burgundy dots in the close-up photos of the fabric!). A linear version of the same motif adorns the outer collar. When unbuttoned, the primary floral print peeks out from inside the collar (see photo 5), but when the pert little collar is worn fastened, the contrasting pattern steals the show (see photo 6).
I found this gem at a top notch vintage shop in Amsterdam. It is in mint condition. No signs of wear, no stains, no flaws. It is lightweight, very slightly sheer (unnoticeable with skin colored lingerie) and exudes Italian details and craftsmanship. A really special piece for those who like their vintage garments pristine. By vintage Italian designer Primavera.
