Vintage Mulberry bag project - Reduced!

The positives: this is a butter soft leather authentic mulberry bag which I’ve had for many years. It’s been well used and is very comfortable to wear with its wide strap. The negatives - please look at photos. The main problem is that there is a hole on the back left, below - but not affecting the strap. It needs repair and will probably require a piece of leather being put underneath the tear. It’s about an inch and a half wide and half an inch deep. There are ink marks on the inside. Other than the hole, the outside is sound, but needs some nourishment/polish. The hardware is scratched but clasp works perfectly. It’s not brittle and is still very soft, but does need some TLC. Once it’s nourished, cleaned and repaired it will look amazing again. I have loved this bag but I have other Mulberry’s which I now use more, and I don’t have the time to get this repaired. I don’t remember its name, but have just done an image search and these are around the £500 mark in very good condition.
