Beautiful American Brilliant Crystal Bowl with a Sawtooth Edge. It's 8" in diameter land 4" tall. This piece has different cuts: Hobstar, Fan, Crosshatching and Hobnail.
American Brilliant Period cut glass is fine quality. Handcut crystal produced from 1876 to roughly 1920. It contains 50% lead crystal, compared to now adays 24% lead, which accounts for its radiant brilliance. Preowned antique condition with expected flaws for it's age. There are tiny scratches on the bottom of the bowl, small fleabites that shown in the pictures. Please, inspect pictures for details. If desired, I'll take more pictures upon request. Overall, the imperfections due to it's age and use, are hardly noticeable, and radiant brilliance of the deep cut makes the bowl look shiny and magnificent!
