I bought this lil doll on QVC in 2000. This was the Special Welcome edition made by Citi toys. Her box was destroyed yrs ago by a move and she's been put up in storage. Her eye color is a Starburst pattern with pink highlights- I'd displayed my dolls without any idea what the sun would do to their eyes. I think it ADDS to the character and beauty myself .
I washed her hair, her REVERSIBLE little onesie by hand, and disinfected her. I put batteries in her tummy box and she still makes baby sounds just as the day she came. She is weighted in her bottom, in original diaper, and jointed limbs. Vinyl and cloth made. Her outfit buttons down and feels quilted from being able to wear it on the red side or the white with star pattern sign. Both have the Special Welcome badge . Im sorry folks.
