Yxing Zisha Teapot

Yixing Zisha teapot crafted from authentic, 'Old-Ore' Zini clay—a non-renewable mineral resource once mined exclusively from the now-depleted veins of Yixing’s Yellow Dragon Mountain. Because the Chinese government has strictly regulated these mines to prevent exhaustion, it is a piece of a mountain that no longer exists in that form. Featuring handcarved "Shu Hua" (Poetry and Painting) detailing a bamboo motif and four-character calligraphy Níng Jìng Zhì Yuǎn—"Tranquility yields transcendence." There are three distinct seals: a large circular one on the bottom (the maker's studio/brand), and two smaller ones inside the lid. A standard of professional Yixing craft for authenticity. The base bears the "Zhongguo Yixing" mark, while the lid contains the personal seals of the artisan, identifying it as part of the prestigious "Zhou" (周) pottery lineage..
